The Devil is in the Details

The excitement and momentum are really building as we are approaching our launch next week. We will be hosting a two-day trunk show event and the guest list has been growing every day. We are really looking forward to providing a fun shopping event with cocktails and appetizers, great ladies and I am sure a lot of laughter. I know for Spinner, JD and myself, it will be as much of a celebration as it will be a sales event.  Hard to believe that our idea, literally born on a tennis court while playing with each other almost two years ago, will finally be coming to fruition.

While we have certainly planned for the big and important features of the trunk show, like…. clothes to sell! We realized today that there were a lot of little details that had to be delegated out between the three of us. Really important things like cocktail napkins and ice. I am sure no successful sports apparel company ever began without a huge shopping trip to Costco. We even were able to talk Spinner’s husband into whipping up some delicious appetizers.

If you are planning on coming next week and taking advantage of our discounts at the trunk show, we can’t wait to see you! Otherwise, our website will be live March 1st and we will be selling at Mia Sorella in Barrington starting in March as well.  Don’t forget, we will also be at several country clubs in the area, too.

Thanks to everyone lately that has been so supportive and enthusiastic about Smashing. It truly means so much to us and we are so grateful for your encouragement.
