A spy + an eternal optimist + a comedian =

January 23, 2010

You learn a lot about your friends when you start a company with them.  For example, I learned one of my friends was a spy –of course she’ll never admit it.  But there are those pesky clues — ability to attain some “classified” info on the internet, fluent in many languages, and of course the ability to use the tennis racket as a weapon.  Then there is my other business partner — the eternal optimist.  She has already completed a very successful business venture in which she attributed its success to a mood board.  She is confident if we create mood boards depicting our success it will happen.  I tried it with winning the lottery.  It’s not working. I have my board and I truly believe I should win.  Obviously the lady picking the balls out of the machine has not seen the board.  I think I’ll have to send the spy over to show her the board.  And then there is me, the comedian.  People (ok, maybe just one person) think I’m funny, but then again, looks aren’t everything!
