I have yet to meet someone who loves to cold call.  Even people that love to sell hate to cold call.

The reason most people are not good at cold calling is because they view it as giving their sales pitch and then hoping for a sale.  A cold call should be viewed as an opportunity to introduce a potential client to your product and to learn more about their business and how your product can fit.

If you are simply calling a list of clients and running through your pitch with no conversation, then you will need to fine-tune your approach to garner more sales.
