WE ARE ALMOST THERE!!

ok, not really, but it is all perspective right?

With 4 days to go on Kickstarter we are looking to still raise another $17,000. I’ve emailed Bill Gates about looking between his sofa cushions; let’s hope he has a lot of Benjamins there.

One of my favorite quotes is from Thomas Edison, “I have not failed, I have just found 10,000 ways that don’t work.” I think we may have found that Kickstarter is not the right platform for us to raise funds — so we will go to Plan B.

We have been FLOODED with emails and calls asking if we don’t get the funding will Smashing go out of business. Well much to the chagrin of our competitors, you can’t get rid of us that easily.

Our expansion and hiring plans may have to be put on hold, but we will still be bringing you those Shaping and Slimming styles for seasons to come.

So if anyone hits the lottery tonight or Monday, you know where to find us, because shouldn’t the rest of the world be Smashing too?
